Founder and president, D. Rodney Hathaway, CFA was born in Saigon, Vietnam in 1968, and later emigrated to the United States in 1971. During his 15 year professional investment career, his disciplined and long-term perspective has afforded him the respect of his investors, portfolio companies and professional colleagues. His passion for identifying good investments, combined with a natural affinity for his home country of Vietnam, gives our shareholders and business partners a very unique entrée to the most exciting frontier market opportunity in Asia.

Co-founder and vice president Terence V. Pavlic, CFA has a diverse background in the investment management industry including vice president of the trust and investment management division of a major bank, research analyst, principal and portfolio manager for a small “boutique” investment advisor and manager of a $600 million mutual fund. He is a past president of the CFA Society of Milwaukee and was a governor of the CFA Institute. For the past ten years, he has been managing money for individual investors at Pavlic Investment Advisors, Inc., a firm he founded.

We are headquartered in Delafield, Wisconsin, USA. This location gives our team of investment professionals the ability to incubate ideas and strategies while avoiding herd mentality that permeates major money centers. In addition, we have a second investment team that will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where on-the-ground fundamental and proprietary research will be performed.
